Hassiem Muhammad, a graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, is a New York City based actor and movement specialist. Hassiem most recently won the 2023 Helen Hayes Award for Best Supporting Performer for his portrayal of the incredibly physical, Caliban, in The Tempest at Round House Theatre. Other regional credits include: The Three Musketeers at Cleveland Playhouse, Shoebox Picnic: Route 1 at Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and SWEAT at the Pioneer Theatre Company. Television credits include: Madam Secretary, FBI, and Blue Bloods.
