Marjorie Folkman danced as a member of the Mark Morris Dance Group (1997-2007), with Martha Clarke and Sara Rudner, among others. Choreographic projects include operas directed by Thaddeus Strassberger, Kevin Newbury, Sam Helfrich and Frank Kelley for Bard SummerScape, the Prototype Festival, Boston Baroque, Odyssey Opera, and Tulsa Opera. Marjorie has staged Mr. Morris’s dances at numerous schools, including Barnard College, where she is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice.  A Ph.D. candidate at the Bard Graduate Center, Marjorie is a lecturer at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, and a cast member of Isaac Mizrahi and John Heginbotham’s  Peter and the Wolf and Third Bird for Guggenheim Works & Process.  She joined the AMT Performing Company in 2023.
